I heard you went on a mission trip to Guatemala, how was it?

It was life changing! God really taught me.....
He can use all of us for His glory! In the simplest terms God ask us to love others and make disciples. This week we were able to do this everyday. We came in contact with almost 1500 children in Guatemala City and in the Lake area and we were able to show them the love of God. We came along side churches in Guatemala that were taking responsibility for VBS on their own for the first time. We provided some crafts, songs and hugs, but the teaching was being done by the church youth. Most teachers were teens but some were as young as nine years old. The children were attentive and well behaved. God was always ten steps ahead of us. It seemed we always ended up with just the right amount of just what we needed, snack, crafts, beanie babies, regardless of what it was God provided.
The unity of our team was amazing. It is always awesome to see how God uses the gifts of each individual to maximize the effectiveness of the group.
