We are discovering that one of the most difficult things to do in ministry is to raise support. This part of being a missionary just feels so awkward. Nevertheless, this is something we must do in the next 60 days. We know that God is in control of this situation and He is working on the hearts of individuals to support this ministry. Over the past three weeks the percentage of our monthly commitment has risen from 8% to around 35%, and the amount of funds to our relocation needs jumped from 61% to 95%. That is God demonstrating how awesome he is.
In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.
1Corinthians 9:14
God wants to use you to share the Gospel to the entire world. Be still and listen, is God speaking to you? As you pray about these things please pray for our family that we will not allow these issues to be a distraction from what God has in store for us.
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
No amount is too small, and God wants us to give sacrificially. Is there something that you could forgo once a week to be able to give to God’s work in Guatemala 10 or 20 dollars a month?
