I feel the Earth move under my feet!

Psalm 46:1-3 (ESV)
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. [2] Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, [3] though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.

Yes, we did experience an earthquake in Guatemala this week. It was reported as a 7.4 and here in the lake area, I can tell you it was a very odd and unsettling feeling. As I write this the number of deaths reported is 52. Some would call this insignificant, but I say every life is important and has value. This is why the angels rejoice when even one person comes to the Lord. Please continue to praise God for the safety of your friends and family that may have been here, but also pray for the friends and families of these 52 individuals that perished that they may experience God's grace and love in this time of sorrow.
